The Irish Masquerade Ball fabulous success!

The Masquerade Ball was a fabulous success! Everyone had amazing outfits and really got in to the spirit the occasion. Special thanks to the musicians who did a great job guiding everyone through the dances.

Dress Up - Put on a Mask - Disguise Yourself

Historically a Masked Ball was so that upper and lower classes of people - who weren't supposed to dance together - did.

After the unmasking had occurred you might discover - - you had been dancing with a king, or a celebrity.

We are pleased to say our Masquerade Ball is far more egalitarian - it will give you plenty of opportunities to dance with others ... if you so desire!

So why not visit a few op shops - dress up, wear a mask, treat yourself and have an evening of fun?

"My husband and I did the Convent tour today... What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, such interesting and wonderful history...." Keeli
