With a lifelong passion for tourism, history and storytelling, Penny brings a wealth of experience to her role as a guide. 

A former tourism lecturer specialising in tour guiding, Penny has worked both in Australia and overseas, sharing her knowledge and love of guiding with people from around the world. She brings that same curiosity and enthusiasm to every tour.

What makes Penny’s tours particularly special is the depth of research behind them. She has an incredible ability to uncover the people, stories and details that bring history to life, helping visitors feel truly immersed in the rich and fascinating past of this very special place.

'I love sharing the stories, heritage and natural beauty of Victoria with visitors and helping them experience a place in a meaningful and memorable way.

As a tour guide, I enjoy bringing local history to life and creating connections between people and the places they visit. I especially love those moments when a visitor discovers something unexpected and gains a deeper appreciation for the character and stories of a destination.

My transition from community engagement in the renewable energy sector to tour guiding and now being based in South West Victoria has been a natural progression. By bringing together many of the things I’ve always enjoyed, connecting with people, sharing stories and helping others develop a deeper appreciation for the places they live in and visit.

I’m delighted to share my passion for heritage, nature and regional Victoria with visitors to the Convent at Koroit. For me, every tour is an opportunity to connect people with the history and character of this special part of the world, while encouraging a genuine appreciation for the places we are fortunate enough to explore.
